Dubai – UAE, May 15, 2016: The 13-branch Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA) has decided on its logo for its 20th edition which is slated to start on Ramadan 1st and come to a close on Ramadan 20th.
H.E. Ibrahim Mohammed Bu Melha, Head of DIHQA Organising Committee and Adviser to the Ruler of Dubai for Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs, said the 20th edition of the annual Award will be themed ‘20 year in Quran service’.
“The Dubai International Holy Quran Award, founded and sponsored by H.H. Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is to celebrate its 20th anniversary this Ramadan.”
“On behalf of me and members of the Award organising committee, I would like to take this opportunity to express sincere appreciation to His Highness Shaikh Mohammed for his tireless support to the Award from its early edition.”
H.E. Bu Melha said the new logo has been approved for all designs, brochures, advertisements, prints and materials of the 20th edition.
“The organising committee is to unveil a number of pioneering initiatives in the coming few days to commemorate the occasion,” he stated, offering deep thanks to media people for their commitment and coverage of all the Award activities and programmes.
Earlier, the organising committee decided on the design of the 20th edition. The winning design, one of many submitted by a number of design and advertisement companies, met the set standards. “Each and every design reflects a good idea, but the best and most reflective of the award activities has been finally chosen,” he said.
